Richard Snyder Obituary

Mr. Richard Henry Snyder, age 86 of White Cloud, passed away early Thursday morning, July 4, 2019 at his home.  He was born on January 9, 1933 in Grand Haven, Michigan to Archie & Vera (Welch) Snyder, and was raised by his mother and step-father Jackson Stonewall Reed.  Richard was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, taking his pontoon boat on the river, and spending time with his family.  On June 30, 1953 he married Betty A. Beak and she survives him along with 3 children:  David (Tammy) Snyder, Brenda Peebles, Barb (Joe) Snyder-Ravelingeen; 5 grandchildren & 8 great grandchildren.  He is also survived by several special nieces & nephews.  According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held from 1-5 P.M. on Saturday August 3rd, 2019 at The Big Prairie Township Park Pavilion at Big Bend Park, where Military Rites will be held at 2:00 P.M.  Suggested Memorial:  St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
