On Friday, November 29, 2019 Riley "Roy" Allers reached out, took Jesus hand, and entered his eternal home. He was born on September 15, 1936 in White Cloud, Michigan to Riley William & Ingle (Ritter) Allers, and graduated from White Cloud High School. He retired from Kroger as head produce manager, and then went to work at Fruitport Community Schools in maintenance & as a bus driver. Riley also worked security during Fruitport home games, and he enjoyed driving school bus for many of their sports teams. His hobby was spending time with his family, the biggest joy in his life, and he sang in the Faith Gospel Group. He also attended Shelby Wesleyan Church. On August 2, 1958 he married the love of his life, Eva "Elaine" Johnson, and his wife of 61 years survives him along with 4 children: Renee (Jerry) Gillard, Rhonda Pearson, Rochelle (David) Naughton, & Randy (Jessica) Allers; 12 grandchildren & 28 great grandchildren; 4 sisters, 3 brothers, 5 sisters-in-law & 5 brothers-in-law. Riley was preceded in death by his parents, Riley & Ingle Allers; by his brothers, Bill & John Allers; and by his sister, Eunice Allers. The Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Deuling officiating.
