I am so sad to hear of Ruth's passing! My heartfelt condolences to Ruth's family. Ruth was a great teacher, so kind and patient with all the children. I had the honor of volunteering at the elementary school for many years and always admired Ruth's commitment and love for educating our beautiful children. She was so good at it, she made it seem easy. I also had the privilege to sit in the bleachers at volleyball games with her and cheer on her very talented daughters Melissa and Michelle. She loved watching them play and Ruth made the cheering section fun! She will be missed and thought of fondly, she touched so many lives. She was a blessing to the children in White Cloud. Prayers for her family.

Ruth was my very good friend during our college years. She and I were roommates during our junior and senior years at Western Michigan University. She also was one of my bridesmaids at mine and Walt's wedding over 41 years ago. Just before we married, she and I traveled to Raleigh to see a PGA tournament. We had such great times that I will always remember. I was grateful to have had the chance to see her life on Facebook these past few years. She lived her life to the fullest and most certainly adored her grandchildren. I will miss her posts and her comments to me.
