Mrs. Tammy D. Kiogima, age 52 of Holton, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday evening, October 16, 2019. She was born on July 25, 1967 in Muskegon, Michigan to Russell & Patricia (Brown) Shappee. Tammy was currently employed as the elementary school secretary for Holton Public Schools, where she had worked for the past 18 years. She loved the students and school family, as well as her grandson and her dog Bailey. Tammy is survived by 3 daughters: Kaylee (Travis) King, Rachel Kiogima, Shauna (Zach Wiseman) Kiogima; 1 grandson, Lincoln King; by her father, Russell Shappee; and by her brothers & sisters: Russell (Cheryl) Shappee III, Teresa (Bruce) Davideit, Christine Ferguson, & Michael Shappee. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Shappee on June 22, 2011. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at the Holton High School Cafeteria (NOTE CHANGE OF SERVICE LOCATION) with Pastor Matt Stoll officiating. A luncheon will be held at the Holton United Methodist Church immediately following the service at the school. There will also be a time of visiting with the family at the Holton High School Cafeteria from 10-11 AM on Saturday.
