Albert Ernst Fethke, Jr.

Albert Ernst Fethke, Jr., 81 of Bitely, MI., passed away on November 15, 2021 in Fremont, MI.  Albert was born in Muskegon, MI. on December 25, 1939 to Albert Sr. and Marie Fethke.  He was preceded in death by his eldest son, Dale Fethke of Austin, Texas.  Albert is survived by his loving wife, Denise; two sons:  Jay Fethke of Florida, Kevin (Jill) Fethke of Milwaukee, WI.; three grandchildren:  Aaron, Adam, and Samantha Fethke; and by his brother, Gordon (Carol) Fethke of Norton Shores, MI.  Full Military Honors will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Fort Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Road, Augusta, MI.  49012.  Albert was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, making maple syrup, traveling, dancing, and spending time with family and friends.  He served four years in the United States Coast Guard, and eight years in the Coast Guard Reserves.  He also served for nineteen years in the Navy Reserves, retiring as Hospital Medic Chief.  Albert also worked for thirty years in the United States Post Office as a letter carrier.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to Socks for Heroes (Socks4heroes.com).  Please share your special memories and sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
