Albert John TerVeer

Albert John TerVeer, age 92 of Fremont, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday morning, December 29, 2021.  He was born on December 6, 1929 in the Netherlands to Peter and Harmke (Nanniga) TerVeer.  Albert had served in the Dutch Army from 1949-1951.  He was a hard working dairy farmer, and then retired from Fremont Co-Op after 12 years of employment.  He was a member of Inspire Church in Fremont (Fremont Wesleyan).  On February 27, 1953 Albert married Jean C. Meijer and she survives him along with 3 children:  Robert (Trena) TerVeer, Nancy (David) Riness, Ken (Carrie) TerVeer; many grandchildren & great grandchildren; 1 brother, John (Bep) TerVeer; and 1 sister, Lineke Sipkes.  He was preceded in death by his twin sons, Peter John TerVeer II and John David TerVeer; and by his sister, Dicky Zuurman.  The Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, December 31, 2021 at Inspire Church in Fremont (Fremont Wesleyan) with Pastor Greg Johnson officiating.  Livestream is available through the Inspire Church Facebook Page (facebook.com/liveinspired.church).  A luncheon will immediately follow the service at church.  Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.  There will also be a time of visiting with the family at the church from 11-12 Noon on Friday.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to the Newaygo County Compassion Home.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
