Alice Jean (Bean) Roach

Alice Jean Roach, age 83 of Twin Lake, passed away on Monday evening, August 8, 2022 at Robbinswood Assisted Living in North Muskegon.  She was born on November 20, 1938 in Cedar Creek Township, Michigan to Nelson & Marie (Syers) Bean.  Alice had been employed by Guardsman in Fremont for 10 years until her retirement in 1998.  She was a member of the Holton American Legion Auxiliary, the Fremont VFW Auxiliary, and the White Cloud Eagles Auxiliary. Alice lived a full life and enjoyed family & friends, camping, fishing, and her birds.  She was also very competitive and loved to play cards, cornhole, and horseshoes.  On June 2, 1961 she married Paul Roach and he preceded her in death on May 16, 2018.  She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Heather Roach; grandson, Josiah Sutton; parents; sister, Joan Brassard; brother Elwood Bean, and infant twin brothers.  Alice is survived by 3 children:  Debbie (Gary) Trygstad of Holton, Dennis (Shiloh) Roach of Holton, Duane (Michelle) Roach of Holton; 11 grandchildren & 14 great-grandchildren; step-daughter, Vivian Roach; 1 brother, Robert (Ruby) Bean; 1 sister, Darlene (John) Dykema; and by many loved nieces & nephews.  The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at Holton Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. Erich Hoeft officiating.  Visitation will be at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home from 5-7 PM on Monday, August 15, 2022.  Interment will be at Oakwood-Holton Cemetery.  Suggested Memorial:  The Holton American Legion Auxiliary.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
