Mr. Allen Dale Bradley, age 68 of Fremont, passed away on Tuesday evening, February 11, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Muskegon. He was born on January 9, 1952 in Fremont, Michigan to Robert & Carol (Derks) Bradley. Allen graduated from Fremont High School, attended Michigan State University, and then graduated from Ferris State University Summa Cum Laude with an accounting degree. He obtained his real estate license, and was the youngest to ever be a member of the Lansing Real Estate Board. Allen had worked for Gerber Products Company as a Sales Representative, he worked for the State of Michigan, and he owned Waterstone, LLC. He had been a member of River Terrace Christian Reformed Church in East Lansing, and he had been a member of Covenant Christian Reformed Church in Grand Ledge where he had been involved with the music program and printing the church bulletins. Allen was a Past President of the Newaygo County Historical Society, and he enjoyed genealogy & collecting coins. On September 8, 1972 he married Betsy R. Morris and she survives him along with 2 children: Susan C. Bradley of Grand Rapids, Patrick R. Bradley of Fremont; his father & step-mother, Robert & Beverly Bradley of Fremont; 3 brothers: Tom (Sharon) Bradley of Thompsonville, MI., Rodney (Allison) Bradley of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, Scott (Angie) Bradley of Fremont; and by numerous nieces & nephews. Allen was preceded in death by his mother & step-father, Carol & Clarence Siersema; and by his grandparents: Wilbur & Katherine Bradley, Henry & Gertrude Derks. The Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Monday, February 17, 2020 at Second Christian Reformed Church in Fremont with Pastor Bob Broekema officiating. Visitation will also be at the church from 11-12 Noon on Monday. Interment will be in Newaygo Cemetery.
