Allen Deuling Obituary

Mr. Allen E. Deuling, age 72 of Fremont, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 8, 2020.  He was born on July 12, 1948 in Fremont, Michigan to Fred & Lucille (Kaiser) Deuling.  Allen was a US Marine Veteran of the Vietnam War.  He was a well known local builder for many years, and worked with many incredible partners.  He also did snow plowing in the Fremont area for several winters.  Allen was a member of All Saints Catholic Church in Fremont, where he volunteered on many church events.  He enjoyed snowmobiling, going for coffee with friends, and traveling to Colorado & Alaska to see his daughters & grandchildren. He was also a handyman for many relatives and friends.  On August 31, 1974 he married Ruth Ensing and she survives him along with 2 daughters:  Jennifer (Kristian) Waldorff of Littleton, Colorado, Sarah Deuling of Anchorage, Alaska; 2 grandchildren, Alex & Kara Waldorff; and by his sisters & brother:  Barbara Salisbury, Shirley Bennett, Donald Deuling, Marlene Gilliland, Marjorie (Don) Redder, Frances (Gary) Derks, Kay (William) Boike.  Allen was preceded in death by his parents.  A Private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Catholic Church in Fremont on Friday, November 13, 2020 with Fr. Pete Schafer as Celebrant.  Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.  Suggested Memorial in lieu of flowers:  Feeding America Food Truck (feedwm.org).  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
