Amelia (Ramos) Vallejo

Mrs. Amelia Vallejo, age 82 of Fremont, passed away on Monday afternoon, April 26, 2021 at her home.  She was born on September 6, 1938 in Mexico to Pablo & Delores (Gonzales) Ramos.  Amelia had been a seasonal farm worker for Andy Vogel.  On November 7, 1951 she married Reyes Vallejo and he preceded her in death on April 25, 2014.  She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Rosa Slater; by her grandchildren:  Joey Mata, Ben Slater, & Rosa Johnson; and by her brothers & sister:  Jose Ramos, Felix Ramos, & Jessie Blasco.  Amelia is survived by 9 children:  Dominga “Janie” (Rodney) Ogg of Gladwin, Ofelia Vallejo of Texas, Sylvia (Ron) Slater of Holton, Carmen (Gary) DeLong of Fremont, Raynaldo (Jana) Vallejo of Fremont, Eduardo (Denise) Vallejo of Holton, Gerardo (Robin) Vallejo of Holton, Tom (Tee) Vallejo of Fremont, Jessica (Rich) Sherman of Arizona; many grandchildren & great grandchildren; and by her sisters & brother:  Delores (Juan) Cantu, Maria Martinez, Fernando (Arcelia) Ramos, Guadalupe Garcia.  A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Reeman Christian Reformed Church with Pastor Nate Kooistra officiating.  Masks are optional.  Suggested Memorial:  Mercy Health Johnson Family Cancer Center.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
