Angela "Angie" Marie Burt

Angela “Angie” Marie Burt, age 59 of Fremont, peacefully joined her Lord and Savior in Heaven on Saturday morning, March 21, 2026 and is now dancing after a long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis.  She was born on July 19, 1966 in Fremont, Michigan to Duane and Corrine (Hooker) Burt.

Angie graduated from Fremont High School in 1984.  She had been a pharmacy technician at Baars Pharmacy in Fremont for many years, working for Al & Ardie Baars and Don Cisler.  Angie had been involved with the Fremont Public Schools After School Program, and with the Newaygo County Friendship Group.  She was a member of Reeman Christian Reformed Church, and she loved her dogs and flower garden.

Angie is survived by her parents, Duane & Corrine Burt; sisters & brothers:  Pam (Arnie) Mater, Steve (Michelle) Burt, Randy (Brenda) Burt, Teri Burt. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews, aunts, uncles, & cousins.  Angie was preceded in death by her sister-in-law Crystal Anderson Burt, and by her grandparents, Stanley & Mildred Burt and Myreenus & Helene Hooker.

There will be a time of visiting with the family from 5:30-7:00 PM on Friday, March 27, 2026 at Reeman Christian Reformed Church.  A Celebration of Angie’s Life will follow at 7:00 PM with Pastor Les VanDyke & Pastor Nate Kooistra officiating. Per Angie’s request, there will be ice cream and chocolates for everyone immediately following the service at church.  Interment will be made at Reeman Cemetery.  Suggested Memorials:  Multiple Sclerosis Society, Cystic Fibrosis – Michigan Chapter, and Reeman Christian Reformed Church.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
