Arleen J. (Crawford) Hartger

Arleen J. Hartger, age 94 of Fremont, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 28, 2023.  She was born on July 20, 1928 in Fremont, Michigan to Vernon & Hazel (VanderBoegh) Crawford.  Arleen was a member of First Reformed Church in Fremont, where she had been a custodian along with her husband Stanley.  She enjoyed camping and traveling in Michigan, and she loved lighthouses.  On July 20, 1946 she married Stanley Hartger and he preceded her in death on March 23, 2017.  Arleen is survived by her son, Douglas (Kathy) Hartger of Fremont; 3 grandchildren:  Trisha Hartger, Steven Hartger, Kent (Jessica) Hartger; 7 great-grandchildren:  Kayleigh Hartger, Taydra & Christopher Everding, Drake & Jaxson Hartger, Toren & Ryland Hartger; and 1 great-great granddaughter, Oakley Hartger.  She was preceded in death by her sisters:  Helen, Genevieve "Myrtle", Patricia, & Lillian; and by her brother, Vernon "Ike" Crawford.  Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont, and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.  Suggested Memorial:  First Reformed Church in Fremont.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
