Barry Allen Sartwell

Barry Allen Sartwell (aka Grandpa Blueberry), age 77 of Hesperia, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at his home.  He was born on September 21, 1948 in Fremont, Michigan to Ronald & Burnetta (Doud) Sartwell.  Barry had worked for many years in the maintenance department at Gerber Products Company until his retirement.  He was a member of Aetna Calvary Church, and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and going out to eat.  Barry is survived by 4 children:  Mary Lou (Norman) Morton, Tonya (John) Bradfield, Michael Hunt, & Chadd Hunt; 9 grandchildren:  Whitney (Thomas) Demogola, Jorie (Tylor) Quinn, Tesa (John) Shira, Jordan (Lona) Bradfield, Makenzie Bradfield, Austin Bradfield, Tristan Bradfield, Lincoln Bradfield, & Easton Bradfield; 3 great-grandchildren & 1 on the way; 1 sister, Eula Mae Booher; and by many nieces & nephews.  He was preceded in death by his son, Devin Sartwell; grandson, Liam Anthony Bradfield; parents, Ronald & Burnetta Sartwell; brothers:  Blaine, Gale, & Eugene Sartwell; and by his sister, Astra Anderson.  According to his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Aetna Calvary Church with Pastor Justin Blackwood officiating.  There will also be a time of visiting with the family at the church from 4-5 P.M. on Thursday, October 16, 2025.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
