Beatrice May Hartger, age 92 of Fremont, Michigan passed away peacefully and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 25, 2024.
She was born on November 7, 1931 to Arthur Gerst and Ann Zager, and both have preceded her in death. Beatrice married George Hartger on May 7, 1966, and he preceded her in death on December 31, 1996. She worked at a die casting company in Grand Rapids, Michigan for 46 years.
Beatrice is survived by her special niece Marcia Vanderwall and nephew Ben Vanderwall of Fremont, and by their children and grandchildren. She is also survived by her close friends Luci Berens and Frank and Ruth Ayre, and by many nieces & nephews.
She loved feeding the birds, squirrels, and deer in her front yard. She also enjoyed going to yard sales, and out to eat with family and friends. Beatrice attended First Reformed Church in Fremont for many years.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at First Reformed Church in Fremont with Pastor Joel Zuidema officiating. Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to Bellwether Harbor. You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.
