Benion Huff, Sr.

Mr. Benion Huff, Sr., age 79 of White Cloud, passed away late Monday evening, February 10, 2020 at his home.  He was born on February 6, 1941 in Sprotts, Alabama to Louis & Rosie (Rutledge) Huff.  Ben attended school in Sprotts, Alabama, and after graduation he moved to Michigan.  He joined New Bethel Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Charles Tolliver.  He had been employed at Gerber Products Company for 40 years until his retirement.  On March 29, 1986 Ben married Linda Hable and she survives him.  He is also survived by 5 children:  Benion (Ruth) Huff, Jr., Michael Huff, Mary Huff, Jr., Jennie (Adam) Middleton, Matt Huff; several grandchildren & great grandchildren; sisters & brothers:  Bobbie Jean Ellis, Catherine (Rozell) Morton, Annie Jo (Donald) Martin, Grier (Carol) Huff, Robert (Isaphine) Huff, Willie Charles Huff; several sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, & friends.  He was preceded in death by his son, Lorenzo Huff; by his parents; and by his brothers & sisters:  AB Huff, James Huff, Angerine Peterson, Daisy Mohan, & Kittie Sue Ford.  The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Glory of The Latter House Ministry with Pastor Jeffery Murchison officiating.  Visitation will also be at the church from 12-1 PM on Saturday.  There will be a luncheon at the church immediately following the service, and burial will be in the Spring at Bridgeton Township Cemetery.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
