Betty A. (McPherson) Israel

Betty A. Israel, age 92 of Fremont, passed away on Wednesday evening, March 6, 2024 at Corewell Health Gerber Hospital in Fremont.  She was born on May 2, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan to Steward & Viola (Wohlfeil) McPherson.  Betty enjoyed reading.  On July 10, 1954 she married George Israel and he preceded her in death on June 10, 2005.  She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Jean Thornton & Joan Phillips.  Betty is survived by her daughter, Brenda Lizak of Southgate, Michigan; and by several nieces & nephews.  According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service.  Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
