Bonnie S. Banks
Born August 3, 1935, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, to parents Harry and Lois Crummel, she entered into the blessed presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on February 24, 2026.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband of over 51 years, Albert E. Banks; by three sisters, Sally Crummel, Laura Lee Wallace, and Sharon Rozier; and by one brother, Michael Crummel.
She is survived by two sisters, Judy Hall and Susan Tigert; by her four children, Daniel (T.K.) Banks, Steven (Elizabeth) Banks, Michael (Kelly) Banks, and Katrina (Jeff) England; by 12 grandchildren, Melissa (Joe) Kane, Andrew (Kate) Banks, Rachel (Ben) Raber, Zachary (Mary) Banks, Esther Banks, Joanna Banks, Samuel Banks, Isaac (Jalyn) Banks, Jacob (Jackie) England, Phoebe Banks, Eleanor England, and Maxwell England; and also by 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, David Crummel.
Bonnie loved her family and enjoyed writing, sewing, and directing dramatic productions at her church. She was a patriot who was proud to be an American. But she will be remembered far more as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Banks & Rev. Isaac Banks officiating. Visitation will also be on Thursday from 12-1 PM. Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont. Suggested Memorial: Faith Hospice.
