Brandon Corwin, age 29 of Fremont, walked tall and whole to meet his Savior Jesus face to face on Saturday afternoon, July 13, 2019. He was born on May 7, 1990 in Traverse City, Michigan to Ken & Chris (Chilson) Corwin. Brandon graduated from Buckley High School in 2008, and from Baker College Summa Cum Laude with a Criminal Justice Degree. He played wheelchair basketball for the Grand Rapids Junior Pacers through Mary Free Bed from age 6 through the 12th grade. He also played wheelchair college basketball for Edinboro University in Edinboro, Pennsylvania. Brandon was an avid Michigan fan, and he enjoyed video gaming with close friends & family. He is survived by his parents, Ken & Chris Corwin of Fremont, sisters & brother: Ashley (Todd) McGee of Virginia, Drew (Tessa) Corwin of Grand Rapids, Mayleah Corwin of Fremont; nieces & nephew: Anna & Joshua McGee, Sadie Corwin; grandparents: Gerald Corwin of Buckley, Leon & Cathy Chilson of Buckley; his 3 best friends: Nathan Shattuck, Micah Weesner, Richard Johnson; and by his dog, Ellie. Brandon was preceded in death by his grandmother, Elnore Corwin. A Celebration of Brandon's Life will take place at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 19, 2019 at First Baptist Church in Fremont with Dr. Steve Witter officiating. There will be a time of visiting with the family at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home from 6-8 PM on Thursday. Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.
