Bruce Charles Nelson

Bruce Charles Nelson, age 76 of Bridgeton, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday morning, January 19, 2025.  He was born on February 17, 1948 in Kent City, Michigan to Charles & Virginia (Isenhart) Nelson.  Bruce was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era.  He had been employed by F.E. Moran, Inc. as a National Superintendent, and he was a member of Local 669 Sprinkler Fitters Union.  He was proud to be an American, and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, & playing the guitar.  On July 29, 1972 he married Debra Romine and she survives him along with 3 children:  Scott (Penny) Foster of Ft Myers, Florida, Chris (Tracy) Nelson of Lowell, Jodi Nelson of Bridgeton; and by a plethora of grandchildren & great-grandchildren.  Bruce was preceded in death by his parents; by his sister, Lora; and by his brother, David.  According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of Bruce’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at the Newaygo VFW Post #4249 followed by a luncheon and time to visit with the family until 4 PM on Sunday.  Interment will be in Bridgeton Township Cemetery.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
