Carl D. Beeler

 Carl D. Beeler, age 91of Fremont, went to be with his Lord & Savior on Monday afternoon, April 27, 2026 following a short illness. He was born on March 24, 1935 to Glenn & Bertha Beeler. Carl was a member of First Reformed Church in Fremont. On September 9, 1955 he married Gloria (Rottman) and she preceded him in death on August 28, 2010. 

He is survived by his children: Rodney (Amy) Beeler of Fremont, Karla (Bill) Karnemaat of Fremont, Kari (Glen) Crow of Montague, Mark (Jennifer) Beeler of Fremont; 9 grandchildren: David (Brenda) Beeler, Kyle Beeler (Cassie), Kristin Beeler (Troyer), Kaley (Zach) Dorian,  Shelby (Nick) Plichta, Morgan Beeler (Trey), Abby Beeler (Cory) & Logan Beeler (Grace), Tyler (Kellie) Knudsen; 13 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews & friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; by his grandson, Brian Beeler; by his sons-in-law, Tom Breuker & Mark Jackson; by his sisters: Dorothy Rail, Bernadine (Peg) Jensen, Nadine Jahr & Patricia Hoeve; and by his brothers: Bud Beeler and Phillip Beeler.

The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 4, 2026 at 1:00 PM at First Reformed Church in Fremont (348 E. Main Street) with Pastor Luke Stroven officiating.  Interment will be in Sherman Township Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home from 2:00 – 4:00 PM on Sunday, May 3, 2026.  Suggested Memorial: First Reformed Church.
