Carl David Schumacher

Carl Schumacher, age 66 of Belmont, passed away peacefully after a very long and difficult battle with kidney disease on Thursday, January 30, 2025.  He worked in real estate for many years in Michigan and California.  He also played guitar with various local bands which was his true passion.  The Celebration of Life Service will be at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home in Fremont on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at 1:00 PM with a brief visitation time after the service followed by a luncheon.

He is survived by his significant other Ruth Oosterhouse and her children, Alicia Offringa (finance Tom Gort), Jennifer(Sean) Seabolt and grandchildren Bryce, Lexi, Skyler and Logan.  Carl is also survived by his siblings:  Christy Stewart, Curt Schumacher, Cathy McClure, Carol Pratt, Patti Regal, Michael Salkovich, and Diane Salkovich; and by his nieces, nephews, and great-nieces & nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father Oscar (Bud) Schumacher, step-mom Glenna Schumacher, and by his mother Barbara Shephard.
