Carmen M. Golembeski

Carmen M. Golembeski, born on January 28, 1941 in Malaga, Spain, to Francisco and Antonia Gomez, passed away peacefully September 4th, 2025. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and yaya. 

She leaves behind a legacy of fun, kindness, and strength. Everyone who knew Carmen referred to her as grandma. She touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. 

Grandma’s life was defined by her devotion to family. She took pride and felt immense joy in celebrating her daughter (Rayme Supernaw) and grandchildren’s (McKenze TerVeer and Megan Supernaw) milestones in life. She offered wisdom and encouragement, and ensured that no one ever left her presence without feeling loved. Her fiery spirit, resilience, and unwavering love for her family will continue to inspire generations to come. If you asked others to describe grandma in one word they would say “spicy”. 

She is survived by her daughter Rayme Supernaw (Rich Betz) granddaughters McKenze TerVeer (Mathew TerVeer), Megan Supernaw, great grandchildren Aiden TerVeer, and Harlyn TerVeer

The family will be having a celebration of life for family and friends to share stories, memories, laughter, and love. Service details will be announced at a later date.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched. Though her presence is no longer with us, her love and memory will remain forever in our hearts. She is finally at peace with her beloved husband, Georgie.
