Carol J. Busch-Reno

Mrs. Carol J. Busch-Reno, age 87 of Holton, went to be with her Lord & Savior on Thursday, January 30, 2020.  She was born on March 13, 1932 in Muskegon, Michigan to Willis & Isabelle (LaVance) Nutt.  Carol was an active member of Holton United Methodist Church, and she had been the owner of Busch Oil Company in Fremont.  She loved to spend time at the cottage at Big Blue Lake, she loved to travel, and she especially enjoyed following the activities & sporting events of her children & grandchildren.  Carol was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Busch whom she was married to for 35 years, and Robert Reno whom she was married to for 5 years.  She was also preceded in death by 3 great grandchildren:  Emerson, Evelie, & Olivia; and by her sisters, Mary Lou Witteveen Hopkins & Karen Long.  Carol is survived by 4 children:  Christy (Greg) Zerlaut, Linda (Erba) Younts, Robert (Robin) Busch, Jr., Jim (Kelly) Busch; 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, & 4 great-great grandchildren; 1 brother, Duane “Butch” Yager; and by many nieces & nephews.  A celebration of Carol’s life will take place at 12:00 Noon on Monday, February 3, 2020 at Holton United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles VanLente officiating.  There will also be a time of visiting with the family at the church from 2-4 PM on Sunday, and from 11-12 Noon on Monday.  Suggested Memorials:  The Robert Busch Academic Athletic Scholarship Fund at the Community Foundation for Muskegon County, or Hospice of Michigan.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
