Cathy Ann Wirt

Cathy Ann Wirt, age 68 of Muskegon & formerly of Fremont, passed away on Wednesday morning, October 9, 2024.  She was born on July 8, 1956 in Seattle, Washington to Domenic & Mary Jane (Snyder) Wins.  Cathy had been employed by Walmart in Fremont.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, taking pictures, doing puzzles, playing cards, & reading.  She was also an animal lover.  Cathy is survived by her children:  Mechel (Chris Belasco) Pagel, Jamie (Alan) Boucher, Steve Wirt, Jennifer (Kevin) Giles; daughter-in-law, Sharon Couts; many grandchildren & great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her sister & brothers:  Nancy (Steve) Vaughn, Ron (Tina) Stalsberg Jr, Kenny Stalsberg; and by many nieces & nephews.  Cathy was preceded in death by her daughter, Heather Bower; son, Ronald Couts; parents:  Ron & Mary Jane Stalsberg Sr, Domenic Wins; brothers:  Steve Morrison & his wife Cindy, Lee Morrison; and by her sister-in-law, Paulette Stalsberg.  A celebration of Cathy’s life will be held at the Fruitport Eagles from 1-4 PM on Sunday, November 10, 2024.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
