Charles "Charlie" E. Gatfield, age 72 of Ludington, passed away on Wednesday morning, April 12, 2023 at Regency at Fremont. He was born on October 25, 1950 in Ludington, Michigan to Donald & Ruth (Boswell) Gatfield. Charlie was an accountant, and had owned his own accounting business. He had been a member of the United Methodist Church of Ludington, and he loved to spend time at both Lake Michigan and Ludington State Park. Charlie is survived by his brother, Donald (Sandra) Gatfield of Muskegon; 3 nieces: Melissa (Dan) Vaandering, Denise Gatfield, & Tess Gatfield; and several cousins, including a special cousin Diane (David) Griffin, He was preceded in death by his parents.
