Cordelia May (Dee) Loss, 94 of Fremont, went to meet her Savior on May 1, 2023 at the Compassion Home. She had lived at her home alone until April 25, 2023, when she suffered a stroke.
She was born on July 20, 1928 in North Muskegon to Ernest and Lillian (Saurwine) Loss. She graduated from Fremont High School in 1948. She worked at Gerber Products Company for 40 years, mostly in the X-ray department. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Hesperia for 50 plus years. Upon her retirement, she cared for several people at their homes. She enjoyed watching birds and sitting on her deck, talking to neighbors and friends that went by.
She is survived by her nieces & nephews: Janet (Terry) Thompson, Sheryl (Dan) Gustman, Sandy (Bob) White, Loyd Loss, Sherrie Loss, Rick Loss, Dan Loss, Howard Loss Jr., Larry, Scott, Benjamin, Travis, and Melissa Loss and several great nieces and nephews. Dee was preceded in death by her parents, and all of her siblings: Dorothy (Robert) Loss, Howard (Agnes) Loss, Irene (Keith) Johnson, and James (June) Loss.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Brunt officiating. Visitation will also be at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:30 – 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont. Suggested Memorial: Hesperia United Methodist Church.
