Cornelia "Connie" (Karp) Pell

Cornelia “Connie” Pell, age 89 of Fremont, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday afternoon, February 8, 2025.  She was born on October 26, 1935 in Grant, Michigan to Simon & Alberta (Kruithoff) Karp.  Connie had worked at Gerber Products Company, Frank’s IGA in Fremont, Reeman Farm Equipment, D&W in Fremont, Fairview Floral, and Walmart in Fremont.  She was a member of First Christian Reformed Church in Fremont, she enjoyed playing the accordion & organ, and she also enjoyed knitting & her flower garden.  On April 9, 1954 she married Carl J. Pell and he preceded her in death on April 16, 2010.  Connie was also preceded in death by her sister, Greta DeFaut; sister-in-law, Judy Karp; and by her sister-in-law & her husband, Margaret & Fred Meeuwenberg.  She is survived by 3 children:  Dennis (Gale) Pell of Fremont, Roger (Lyn) Pell of Fremont, Marcia (Pat) Freeman of Grant; 10 grandchildren & 23 great-grandchildren.  Connie is also survived by 2 brothers:  Wilbur Karp of Fremont, Neil (Pat) Karp of Dorr; and by her brother-in-law, Dale (Rhoda) Pell of Rockford.  The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 14, 2025 at First Christian Reformed Church in Fremont with Pastor Drew Sweetman officiating.  Visitation will be at Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home from 6-8 PM on Thursday, and at the church from 10-11 AM on Friday.  Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.  Suggested Memorial:  Hospice of Michigan - Newaygo County.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
