Cynthia "Cindy" Lee Mayo

Cynthia “Cindy” Lee Mayo, age 62 of Hesperia, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at her residence after a long illness.  She was born on October 8, 1960 in Fremont, Michigan to Stuart & Dixie (Dawe) Mayo.  Cindy had worked for 16 years at the Chatham County Sheriff’s Department in Savannah, Georgia until her retirement.  She enjoyed quilting, spending time with her nephews Daren, Evan, & Ian, and with her cat Sophie.  Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, and is survived by her brothers & sisters:  Randy (Beth) Pulaski, Joni Kopitzke, Sharon (Wayne) Ferris, Mike (Vicki) Mayo, Lisa (John) Miller; and by several nieces & nephews.  According to her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a family service will be held at a later date.  Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.  Suggested Memorial:  The Newaygo County Animal Shelter.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
