David Kandelac

David Kandelac, age 78 of Fremont, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at his home.  He was born on August 31, 1944 in Muskegon, Michigan.  Dave had owned & operated the Party Hardy Store in Muskegon, and he had previously worked at Westran in Muskegon as a crane operator.  He enjoyed playing pool, and riding his motorcycle.  He also liked race car driving, and he was a NASCAR fan.  On October 20, 1973 he married Irene Stewart, and she survives him along with 4 children:  Duane Kandelac, Craig (Yvonna) Kandelac, Sara (Todd Ekster) Kandelac, & Dawn (Bryan) Snuffer; 6 grandchildren & 3 great-grandchildren.  Dave is also survived by his siblings:  Judy (Ken) Canfield, Bonnie (Morrie Stahl) Riggs, Connie (Bob) Collins; and by many nieces & nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Clara & George Loper; brother, Jerry Loper; and by his sisters, Elaine Church & Joyce De-Clerq.  There will be a time to visit with Dave’s family to celebrate his life from 1-3 PM on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home.  Interment will be at Sullivan Township Cemetery at a later date.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
