On Wednesday, January 22, 2020 David Alan Naughton, 63, passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family and friends. David was born August 31, 1956 in Traverse City, MI. David graduated from East Kentwood High School in 1975, setting multiple track records.
In his younger years, David was an avid pool player. The one everyone wanted to beat. He will be remembered for his keen sense of humor and quick witted observations. David enjoyed spending time around the lake with grandchildren and watching sunsets with the love of his life, Rochelle. Holidays and gatherings would find David in the kitchen, preparing his signature dishes while loving the time with family. Fall Sunday afternoons would find David watching his beloved Lions and was truly a Lion’s fan to the end! “Next year will be their year!”
David leaves “my honey” Rochelle, mom, sisters and brothers, children, grandchildren and other family and friends whom he loved dearly. David will now travel to meet his creator and those who passed over to the Lord before him. He will especially enjoy being reunited with his father in law, Riley Allers, nephew Patrick Naughton, cousin Steven Hingston, and a dear friend, Joel Hubers.
A Celebration of David's Life will be held at 12:00 Noon on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home. Visitation will also be a the funeral home on Sunday from 11-12 Noon.
