David Elwin Wilder, Jr.

David Elwin Wilder, Jr., age 69 of Fremont, passed away on Friday evening, February 13, 2026 at Regency at Fremont.  He was born on November 23, 1956 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to David Elwin & Nora (Mullin) Wilder, Sr.  David was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era.  He had been a truck driver, and he loved to ride his Harley-Davidson Motorcycle.  David is survived by 2 children:  Joshua (Cassie) Wilder of Newaygo, Misty (Wilbur) Martin of Bitely; 4 grandchildren:  Aalah & Jacob Wilder, Cooper & Dulcie Guarisco; 1 great-grandson, Daxton Blackwell; 1 brother, Michael (Carol) Wilder; 1 sister, Laura Myers; several nieces & nephews; and by his wife of 47 years, Rose Wilder of Fremont.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and by his sister Kathy Ash.  According to David’s wishes cremation has taken place, and a celebration of his life and luncheon will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2026 from 1-4 PM at the Newaygo VFW Post #4249, where Military Honors will be held at 3:30 PM.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
