Debra Ruth (Spicer) VandenHeuvel

Debra Ruth VandenHeuvel, age 71 of Howard City, passed away at her home surrounded by her children early Tuesday morning, December 10, 2024.  She was born on May 12, 1953 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Richard Roger & Lela Ruth (VanSyckle) Spicer.  Debra is survived by 2 children:  Kathy (Dick) Taskey, Matthew (Tara) Bourdon; step-son, Mike (Tonya) Bourdon; 3 grandchildren:  Nicole Scott, Samantha Goss, Timber Bourdon; 5 great-grandchildren:  Hudson & Charleigh, Landon, Caydon, & Zaeleigh; who were all the center of her life.  She is also survived by her dog, Copper.  Debra was preceded in death by her parents, Richard & Lela Spicer; brother, Danny Spicer; and by 2 nephews, Rodney Osburn & Kevin Spicer.  According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service.  Suggested Memorial:  The American Cancer Society.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
