Diana Lynn (Millis) Nadeau, age 79 of Fremont, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Saturday morning, June 13, 2026 at the Oceana County Medical Care Facility in Hart. She was born on December 29, 1946 in Fremont, Michigan to Ferris Arthur & Mildred “Millie” (Pavlovic) Millis.
Diana had worked at Midwest Components in Newaygo where she was known as “Griz”, she had owned & operated Amy’s Restaurant in Fremont for many years where she was known as “Muma”, and she retired from Michigan Works in 2011 where she was known as Diana. She was a member of Fremont Moose Lodge #1555. Diana loved to go on cruises and travel with the couples group. She also taught ceramics and enjoyed canning, cooking, & baking. She hosted summer weekend family cookouts that over 50 family members would attend. Diana loved Willie Nelson, and most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
On June 28, 1986 she married Rex Nadeau and he preceded her in death on March 2, 2011. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Ferris & Mildred Millis; father-in-law & mother-in-law, W.J. & Violet (Baddis) Nadeau; niece, Candace Stroven; sisters: Janice Rumsey, Janet Phillips, Marianne Westbrook; brothers-in-law: Jim Delia, Jerry Rumsey, Dick Philips, Roger King, Arnie Rottman, Van Nadeau, Max Nadeau, & Gary Nadeau; and by her sisters-in-law, Yvonne King & Vicki Hendrix. Diana is survived by 6 children: Thomas Boltz, Willy (Lisa Beatty) Boltz, Deana (Joe Bordeaux) Boltz, Roxanne (Rodney) Hudson, H. Douglas (Barbara) Nadeau, Bob Nadeau; 9 grandchildren: Nick Boltz, Tony (Ashley) Lemmen, Dakota (fiancée Krysti) Pletcher, Colton Pletcher & Daytona (fiance Lupe Ramos) Pletcher, Morgan Hudson, Jared (Katy) Hudson, Caleb Nadeau & Benjamin Nadeau; 13 great-grandchildren: Lauren & Nora Boltz, Jaydan, Braylee, & Kinsley Lemmen, Jace, Adalynn, Arianna, & Bella Pletcher, Leland, Rex, Jay, & Max Hudson. Diana is also survived by her sisters & brothers: Nancy Delia, Ferris Ann (Bernie) Mangan, Judy (Larry) Gauld, Darlene Millis, Lois (Morris) Folkema, Dawn (Keith) Stroven, Jeff (Lisa) Millis; sisters-in-law: Jane Ann Rottman and Judy Nadeau Salacina; brother-in-law Huey Hendrix; and by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
There will be a time of visiting with the family from 11-1 PM on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, immediately followed by a luncheon at the Fremont Moose Lodge #1555.
