Diana (Dee) Rauwerda Obituary

Diana Lynn Rauwerda passed away on December 27, 2020 due to complications from COVID-19.

Dee was born on July 21, 1945 in Chicago, the only child of Charles and Margaret Edling. She moved to Grand Rapids in her teenage years and graduated from Grand Rapids Christian High School, where she met her husband Roger. She drove the school bus for Ada Christian School. In 1999 Rog and Dee moved to Fremont, Michigan, where they enjoyed their summers at their lake home and their winters in Mesa, Arizona. She was a long-time member of Cascade Fellowship Christian Reformed Church and then Second Christian Reformed Church of Fremont.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Roger; son Jim (wife Jayne and their children Annie, Joey, and Sammy) of Grand Rapids; son John of Mesa, Arizona; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Phyllis and Dennis DeVries.

She will be remembered at a private family gathering lead by Pastor Rick Vanderwal.
