Dolores Jean (French) Johnson

Dolores Jean Johnson, age 92 of Fremont, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Green Acres Assisted Living in Fremont.  She was born on October 26, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan to Chase & Ora (Maze) French, and married Milo “Mike” J. Johnson on February 16, 1951 in Fremont.  Dolores was a member of Fremont Christian Church, and she had been a cook at the Dinner Bell Restaurant in Fremont for many years until her retirement.  She is survived by 5 children:  Diane Blondeel, Judy & Gary Fetterley, Marcia Johnson, Dale Johnson, Shari & Randy Paulsen; 11 grandchildren:  Stephanie & Lee Cruzan, Jason & Nichole Fetterley, Jeff & Chevon Proctor, Todd Proctor, Lori Parsons, Melissa & Wes Thompson, Lindsay & John Bednarz, Jennifer & Brian Huskey, Mary & Dennis Groendyke, Michael Johnson & Lindsey Evans, Steven & Brandie Paulsen; 29 great-grandchildren & 5 great-great grandchildren.  Dolores is also survived by her sister Barbara Mulholland, and by her brother Larry & Teresa French.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Milo “Mike” J. Johnson; daughter-in-law, Joey Johnson; grandson, Chad Paulsen; great-great granddaughter, Lilianna Noel; and by several brothers & sisters.  The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Fremont Christian Church with Rev. Steven Jumper officiating.  Visitation will also be at the church from 11-1 PM on Wednesday.  Interment will be at Sherman Township Cemetery.  Suggested Memorial:  Green Acres Assisted Living in Fremont for a memorial bench in memory of Dolores.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
