Donald L. Harrington

Donald L. Harrington, age 65 of Fremont, passed away early Tuesday morning, January 21, 2025 at his home, surrounded by his family.  He was born on November 19, 1959 in Fremont, Michigan to Richard & Frances (Overla) Harrington.  Don was a US Navy Veteran.  He spent the majority of his career in the trucking industry until his retirement in 2023. He attended Faith Baptist Church in Fremont.  Don enjoyed carpentry, camping, fishing, traveling and spending quality time with his family.  On December 18, 1993 he married Susan Postema and she survives him along with 5 children:  Amanda Harrington, Jacqueline Harrington, Andrew (Katie) Harrington, Kurtis (Morgan) Harrington, Katherine (Jake) Mckian; 5 grandchildren: Liam Sella, Teddy Sella, Elijah Harrington, Hannah Harrington, and Myah Harrington.  Don is also survived by his sister, Vonda Harrington, sister-in-law Donna Harrington; uncle & aunt, Roger & Peggy Harrington; and by many nieces & nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard & Frances Harrington; and by his brothers:  Mike, Jim, & Rick.  A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday February 1st at Faith Baptist Church in Fremont with Pastor Bryan Tanis officiating.  Military Honors will be conducted at the beginning of the service, and a luncheon will immediately follow the service at church.  There will also be a time of visiting with the family at the church from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm prior to the service.  Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.  Suggested Memorial:  CranHill Ranch.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
