Donna Jean Lambrix

Mrs. Donna Jean Lambrix, age 85 years of Spring Lake, Michigan, peacefully passed away on Tuesday morning, July 30, 2024 at Grand Pines Assisted Living Center in Grand Haven. She was born on March 22, 1939 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to George and Ruby (Ellett) Dvorak.

She had worked at Burgess – Norton, formerly Standard Automotive for 13 years before her retirement in May of 1997. Prior to that she owned a campground in Walkerville, Michigan with her first husband Ron O’Kelly (deceased). On August 23, 1986, she married David Lee Lambrix. They enjoyed splitting their time between Twin Lake, Michigan and Fort Myers Beach, Florida where they made many lifelong friendships that they treasured dearly.

Donna is survived by 4 children: Rhonda O’Kelly of Spring Lake, David (Nancy) Lambrix of Kalamazoo, Lori Will of North Muskegon, Leland (Becki) Lambrix of North Muskegon; 10 grandchildren: Chris O’Kelly, Megan O’Kelly, Emma O’Kelly, Brent (Lindsey) Will, Nick Will, Rikki Will, Jason Lambrix, Erin Lambrix, Noah Lambrix, Delaney Lambrix; and 2 great grandchildren, Brelin and Qeenan Wood-Will. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband David Lambrix on October 1, 2014, and her beloved son Mike O’Kelly on November 3, 2018.

According to Donna’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. However the family is planning a celebration of life at a later date.
