Doris Fay (Lynn) Buhler

Mrs. Doris Buhler, age 87 years of Newaygo, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at the Brook of Newaygo.  She was born on January 16, 1931 in Allegan, Michigan to William & Lily May (Newman) Lynn. She was married for 52 years to Waldon Buhler and he preceded her in death on October 29, 2002. Her interests included sewing, working in her yard and garden, bird watching, and spending time with family and friends. Doris is survived by her son David (Virgie Lynne) Buhler and daughter Shirley (Larry) Rose. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren: James Buhler, Casey (Tammy) Buhler, Charlynne Buhler, Sheila (Todd) Hetherington, Tanya (Jim) McPheron, and Mark Rose; In-laws: Lome and Viv Buhler and Marguerite Buhler; and by many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Doris was preceded in death by her sisters: Nellie (John) Kerber, Grace (Edward) Withrow, Blanche Kenbeek, Helen (Bernith) Whisler, and Clara (Bill) Wiltse; brothers: Carl (Barbara) Lynn and Ralph Lynn; brother-in-law, Norwood Buhler, and granddaughter Jennifer Buhler. According to Doris' wishes, cremation has taken place and a private graveside ceremony  will  take place at Salem Township Cemetery in Burnips, Michigan.
