Dorothy Ann (Cook) Grinwis

Dorothy Ann Grinwis, age 86 of Grant, passed away on Saturday afternoon, December 2, 2023 at her residence.  She was born on October 28, 1937 in Muskegon, Michigan to Clifford L. & Georgianna A. (Sliter) Cook.  Dorothy was a homemaker who was always fashionable.  She enjoyed canning, quilting, knitting, & crocheting.  She spent 27 years wintering in Texas, and she liked camping and going on lots of adventures.  On November 18, 1955 she married Ronald Lee Grinwis, and he preceded her in death on May 1, 2022.  She was also preceded in death by her sister Holly Dobb, and by her brother Skip Cook.  Dorothy is survived by 5 children:  Suellen Fowler, Deborah (Don) Follett, Gina Grinwis, Ronald A. (Vicki) Grinwis, Heidi Grinwis; 18 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren & many great-great grandchildren; and by her brother, Bud (Beverly) Cook.  A Graveside Service will be held in the Spring of 2024 at Bridgeton Township Cemetery.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
