Obituary

Elaine M. Lloyd, age 93 of Fremont, passed away early Saturday morning, May 28, 2022.  She was born on April 10, 1929 in Fredonia, North Dakota to Lee & Perina (Wittmayer) Burley.  Elaine was a competitive bridge player, and she enjoyed gardening and spending winters in Florida.  On August 26, 1950 she married Eugene "Gene" Lloyd and he survives her along with 3 children:  Jeffrey Lloyd, Mark Lloyd, Christy (John) Lennon; 7 grandchildren & 8 great-grandchildren; and 2 brothers, Earl & Arlen Burley.  The Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home with Pastor Art Barton officiating.  Visitation will also be on Thursday from 11:30- 12:00 Noon.  Interment will be in Newaygo Cemetery.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
