Evelyn M. (Minch) Walker

Mrs. Evelyn M. Walker, age 81 of White Cloud, passed away on Thursday afternoon, February 11, 2021 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont.  She was born on December 25, 1939 in Clarksville, Michigan to Herman & Beulah (Cummings) Minch.  Evelyn had been a real estate agent, and she had worked at the Family Dollar in White Cloud and Lake Odessa.  She enjoyed fishing, gardening, canning, cooking, baking, and feeding people.  She also liked to go out to eat and get ice cream, go to thrift stores and yard sales, and read old westerns.  She also loved dogs and raising them.  Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Richard Walker, and by 13 siblings.  She is survived by 3 children:  James (Deborah) Irish IV, Kimberly (Fred) Combs, Thomas (April) Walker; several grandchildren & great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her brother Gary, and by her sister Carol.  A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home.  Suggested Memorial:  The Newaygo County Animal Shelter.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
