Mr. Foster Lee McCumber, age 85 of White Cloud, went to meet his Lord and Savior on Wednesday evening, January 13, 2021.  He was born on May 24, 1935 in Grant, Michigan to Walter & Marian (Pummel) McCumber.  Foster was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War.  He had been employed by McInerney Spring & Wire Company in Grand Rapids for 32 years, and by Dumpers Unlimited in Bailey for 10 years.  Foster was a member White Cloud Church of God, where he had served on the church council for 29 years.  He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and trapper.  On June 7, 1958 he married Maxine Moon and she preceded him in death on January 17, 2008.  He was also preceded in death by his son, Michael McCumber; granddaughters, Cristie & Brittany McCumber; brother, Donald McCumber; sister, Alice Rauch; sister-in-law, Ora McCumber; and brother-in-law, Ron Klammer.  Foster is survived by 3 children:  Stan (Penny) McCumber of White Cloud, Cindy (Terry) Talcott of Croton, Brad McCumber of White Cloud; 8 grandchildren & 14 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Alva McCumber of White Cloud; 3 sisters:  Christina Kuhns of White Cloud, Ada (Lenus) Kuhns of White Cloud, Judy Klammer of White Cloud; and by many nieces & nephews.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a celebration of Foster’s life will take place in the summer of 2021.  Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery near Grant.  Suggested Memorial:  White Cloud Church of God.  You can sign the online guest book at  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
