Frank A. Wash

Frank A. Wash, age 77 of Newaygo & formerly of Chicago, passed away on Friday evening, July 8, 2022 at Regency at Fremont.  He was born on August 31, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois to Frank & Angeline (Mierswa) Wash.  Frank was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era.  He had been a Prudential Insurance Agent in Chicago for 28 years until his retirement in 2000, and then he continued to work part- time for Prudential until 2005, when he then moved to Newaygo.  Frank was a member of All Saints Catholic Church in Fremont, and he enjoyed fishing.  On September 18, 1965 he married Joyce M. Gregg and she survives him along with 2 children:  Frank Anthony (Bobbie) Wash, Jennifer (Benjamin) Swift; 1 granddaughter, Emma Swift; 1 brother, Robert (Barbara) Wash; brother-in-law, James Kalkowski; sister-in-law, Pat Gregg; and by many nieces & nephews.  Frank was preceded in death by his parents; by his sister, Gere Kalkowski; and by his brother-in-law, Eugene Gregg.  According to his wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Private Service will be held.  Suggested Memorials:  St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or Wounded Warrior Project.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
