Franklin C. Davis

Mr. Franklin Charles Davis, age 60, of Newaygo, passed away early Wednesday morning, May 19, 2021 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital. He was born on September 13, 1960 in Newaygo to John Wayne and Alice (Mavis) Davis Sr. Frank had worked as a CNC programmer. On February 5, 2012 he married Carmelita Quimson, she survives him. Frank is also survived by his 2 sons: Chase (Stephanie) Davis, and their daughter Mackenzie, and Allen Davis, and his daughter Mia; 4 brothers: John Wayne (Penny) Davis, Jr., Gary Davis, Donald (Patricia) Davis and their children Brianna, Cody and Riley, and Ron (Lynn) Davis and their sons Gabe and Michael; 1 Sister, Stacy (Justion) Yance and their children Alexander and Isabella; Many nieces, nephews, step nieces and step nephews. He is also survived by his handsome baby boy puppies, Alvin and Hachiko. Frank was preceded in death by his parents. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Hillside Cemetery near Grant with Pastor Greg Johnson officiating. A memorial luncheon and time to visit with the family will follow at the John Wayne Davis Jr. residence (4606 S. Baldwin Avenue, Fremont).
