Gary L. Keyes

Gary L. Keyes, age 79 of Newaygo, passed away on Sunday November 15, 2020 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids after a short battle with cancer.  He was born on June 5, 1941 in Grand Rapids to Leo & Virginia (Miller) Kijauckas.  Gary retired in 1998 following over 30 years of employment at GM on Burlingame in Grand Rapids.  He was an avid fisherman on the Muskegon river.  Talking and spending time with family was a favorite pastime, as well as playing with his granddaughters, who were the light of his life!  He is survived by his wife Lisa (Wellman) Keyes; 2 children: Rheanna (Ross Gabay) Wellman, Aaron (Rachele) Keyes; 2 grandchildren, Kylie & Kendall Keyes; brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law: Paul (Paula) Wellman, Margo West, Ross (Laurie) Wellman, Renee Mosher; many nieces & nephews; and dear friends Rick & Cindy Sharp and their family.   A celebration of life will be held in the spring.  Donations can be made to either: Camp Newaygo, P.O.
