Gerald "Jerry" Russell Gordon

Mr. Gerald “Jerry” Russell Gordon, age 86 of Newaygo, went to his Eternal Home on Wednesday afternoon, February 10, 2021.  He was born on October 6, 1934 in Mount Pleasant, Michigan to Erich William & Laura Dell (Cain) Gordon.  Jerry was a US Air Force Veteran of the Korean War.  He had owned & operated Hillview Avionics, which originated in San Jose, California, and then had stores in Fremont & Muskegon.  He had also owned & operated Gordon Electronics in Grant.  Jerry was a member of Grace Bible Church in Newaygo.  On July 1, 1963 he married Dolores Murdick and she survives him along with his blended family of 6 children:  Pamela (Randy) Barnabei, Russell (Leslie) Gordon, Erich (Lisa) Gordon, Vicki (John) Cook, Cyndi (Jayson Pranger) Oom, Lance (Brenda) Orcutt; 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.  Jerry was preceded in death by his son David Gordon, and by his son-in-law Loyde Bastion.  A celebration of Jerry's life will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Grace Bible Church in Newaygo with Pastor David Simmer officiating.  Military Honors will be provided by the US Air Force.  Suggested Memorial:  Grace Bible Church.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
