Geraldine Mae (Tibbe) Deuling

Geraldine Mae Deuling, age 89 of Newaygo, passed away on Saturday afternoon, June 11, 2022 at the Newaygo County Compassion Home in Fremont.  She was born on September 25, 1932 in Muskegon, Michigan to Gerrit & Martha (Luchies) Tibbe.  Geraldine had attended Aetna Calvary Church.  She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, quilting, and bird watching.  On June 4, 1954 she married Frederick W. Deuling and he preceded her in death on September 15, 2012.  She is survived by 7 children:  Judy (Charles Schatz) Deuling, Wayne (Peggy) Deuling, Carol (Skip Ravell) Deuling-Ravell, Scott Deuling, Vicki (Mark) Hall, Tammy (Robert) David, Paula (Sean) Quinn; 15 grandchildren & 3 great-grandchildren; sister & brothers:  Barb (Stanley) Stroven, Dale Tibbe, James (Susan) Tibbe; and brother-in-law, James DuRose.  Geraldine was also preceded in death by her stillborn son, Tom Henry Deuling; parents, Gerrit & Martha Tibbe; step-mother, Mildred Tibbe; brother, Arthur Tibbe; sisters, Maxine Tibbe, Helene Buitendorp, & Joyce DuRose.  The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 17, 2022 at Aetna Calvary Church with Pastor Justin Blackwood officiating.  Visitation will be at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home from 6-8 PM on Thursday.  Interment will be in Sherman Township Cemetery.  Suggested Memorial:  The Newaygo County Compassion Home.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
