Harley "Dean" Anderson

Mr. Harley “Dean” Anderson, age 81 of Fremont, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2020.  He was born on January 7, 1939 in Fremont, Michigan to Elmer & Hazel (Chrystler) Anderson.  Dean was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era, and he had been employed by Gerber Products Company for 38 ½ years until his retirement in 2004.  On June 25, 1966 he married Susan Stroven and she survives him along with 2 daughters:  Michelle (Chris) Nelsen of Kalamazoo, Angela (Robert) Vasquez of Fremont; 4 grandchildren:  Brandon (Haley) Taylor, Melissa (Rex Finney) Taylor, Cade Vasquez, & Bryar Vasquez; 2 great grandchildren, Owen Finney & Stella Taylor.  Dean is also survived by his sister-in-law, Judy Anderson of Fremont.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert J. Anderson.  A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.  You can bring your own lawn chair & umbrella, and masks are optional.  Suggested Memorial:  The Alzheimer’s Association.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
