Hester Eloise (Rottman) Borgman

Mrs. Hester Eloise Borgman, age 94 of Fremont, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday afternoon, May 1, 2023.  She was born on September 7, 1928 in Fremont, Michigan to Garret & Agnes (Buitendorp) Rottman.  Hester had been a school bus driver for Fremont Public Schools, and she was a member of First Reformed Church in Fremont.  She enjoyed gardening, flowers, camping, and spending time with her family.  On September 5, 1950 she married Henry J. Borgman and he preceded her in death on January 9, 2008.  She was also preceded in death by her sons-in-law, Douglas Franks & Gary Beeler; grandsons, Jason Tanis & Mark Tanis; great-granddaughter, Isabelle Worth; and by her brother, Jay Rottman.  Hester is survived by 7 children:  Gary (Deb) Borgman, Charlene (Les) Robertson, David (Sue) Borgman, Diane (Carl) Jahr, Sheryl (Lee) Johnson, Linda (Doug) Smith, Ann (Gordon McLouth) Franks; many grandchildren & great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her sister, Shirley Buter; sister-in-law, Joyce Rottman; and by many nieces & nephews.  The Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at First Reformed Church in Fremont with Pastor Joel Zuidema officiating.  Visitation will also be at the church from 2-3 PM on Sunday.  Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.  Suggested Memorial:  First Reformed Church in Fremont.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
