Jack M Klomp

Mr. Jack M. Klomp, age 86 of Fremont, went to be with his Lord & Savior on Thursday morning, August 8, 2019.  He was born on October 30, 1932 in Fremont, Michigan to Arthur & Dorothy (Allhands) Klomp.  Jack had been employed by DuPont Chemical Company, Vern Wright, Inc., & Zelenka Nursery.  He was a member of Fremont United Methodist Church, and he enjoyed golfing.  On August 7, 1952 he married Mary Ellen Kempf and she survives him along with 4 sons:  Jack L. (Katie) Klomp, Kent M. (Patti) Klomp, Brad A. (Michelle) Klomp, Doug D. Klomp; 7 grandchildren:  Stephanie (Terry) Price, Brian (Brittney) Klomp, Beth (Nate) English, Eric (Melanie) Johnson, Rachel (Evan) Cobb, Teresa Klomp, Chelsea Klomp; 9 great grandchildren; 2 brothers:  Glen (Dolores) Klomp, Jerry Klomp; his sister-in-law, Karolyn Rollenhagen; brother-in-law, Ronald (Jolyn) Kempf; and several nieces & nephews.  Jack was preceded in death by his sister & her husband, Carolyn & Lawrence Waybill; and by his brothers George & Wayne Klomp.  According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 16, 2019 at Fremont United Methodist Church with Pastor Julie Fairchild officiating.  There will also be a time of visiting with the family at the church from 11-1 PM on Friday.  Suggested Memorial:  The Fremont United Methodist Church Roofing Project.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
